| Being only one of two such facilities in Adelaide, the Marine Aquaculture facility allows for the testing and measuring of various freshwater and sea water species to be compared and tested at differing water temperatures and environments.
Consisting of approximately 2000 litres of active testing water baths, the underground location of the facility in addition to the discreet bulk storage of fresh water and sea water on the North Terrace Campus provided the design team with some interesting challenges.
Lucid designed the storage waste cooling and reticulation of the test water and marine environment protected electrical systems at the Marine Aquaculture facility. |
