| All Lucid documentation is prepared utilising in-house computing facilities.
All drawings are prepared using AutoCAD 2008 drafting software, with a third party overlay program (DraPro) to assist with standardisation, layer structuring and coordination between various discipline drawings.
Specifications are prepared from Lucid master specification which is continuously updated to include the latest system technologies and design improvements. All word processing is carried out in Office 2007.
Engineering software is utilised as a design aid as appropriate and include the following programs for which Lucid is a licensed user:
- ACADS CAMEL heat load estimation program
- CARRIER heat load and energy analysis program
- ACADS HYENA sprinkler pipe work sizing program
- AGI Lighting simulation program
From time to time specialised design analysis is required which may fall outside of the range of the day-to-day services offered by Lucid. These services are outsourced to ensure that they are carried out by the best available experts in the relevant field, who work with the associated software on a day-to-day basis. Such examples include Acoustic Engineers and Computational Fluid Dynamics Modeling. We have cooperative working relationships with a number of practices who provide these specialist services. This approach avails our clients of a cohesive, high calibre team of experts, working together under the direction of Lucid, who themselves hold a strong overall grasp of the underlying principles of each field. |
