| Being a predicted 5-Star Greenstar Office Fit-out project, Lucid provided expertise in the energy efficient systems being installed in the development.
A major factor in the developments minimal energy use is the use of high efficiency, heat pump, variable refrigerant air conditioning systems throughout the office building component. Other energy efficient systems including high efficiency lighting, daylighting control and solar electric hot water systems. Lucid designed the capture and reuse of rainwater systems with water efficient fittings in the development.
Rainwater reuse was of utmost importance to the client and Lucid duly obliged by expanding the concept of rainwater reuse to include unfiltered rainwater for drinking purposes. As such the Grundfos Pumps development is expected to be almost 100% self sustainable in terms of water use - an important consideration in today's climate. |
