gas emissions is a large concern to
everyone looking forward into the future. |

| The Local Government Association of South Australia (LGA) is dedicated to exploring possible reductions in greenhouse gas emissions wherever possible. One of the largest opportunities for reductions in greenhouse gas emissions by local councils is public lighting. The LGA has engaged Lucid Consulting Engineers to co-ordinate all SA councils to spearhead their collective shift toward more energy efficient park and roadway lighting. This important project requires the technical expertise and the goal oriented dedication of Lucid Consulting Engineers to drive the project towards its important objectives. Lucid are consolidating data on all state-of-the-art sustainable lighting technologies to find the most appropriate for local conditions and working with Councils and ETSA Utilities to implement these new technologies into the parks and steetscapes of South Australia. Our work on this project will ensure South Australia is on the forefront of public lighting sustainability and set up the framework to ensure leadership by the state in this aspect leading into the future. |
