When Origin Energy moved from its Bowden site to new premises in Kidman Park, the existing Administration Building was extended to include a new central data centre to coordinate all IT Services throughout the department.
- The Data Centre was equipped with a dedicated distribution board with UPS back up and standby diesel generator.
- The room is equipped with purpose-built humidity controlled underfloor air conditioning and an environmental monitoring system which can communicate the status of the power supply, generator, temperature, VESDA fire detection and other warning devices directly via SMS.
- The Data Centre was fully documented prior to construction including full elevation details.
The project was constructed within budget and on time to the praise of the client. |
